Here at Girly Web Design we like to keep a few things in mind. First, girls aren't what we used to be. Some are still into the pink and frilly, while others are into suits and flats. Either way things just aren't what it used to be!

• A little about us.. Girly Web Design is yet another endevour that we have under taken in history on the net. You can see a couple of our e-book templates here, and if you really like them.. Click on them! They will redirect you to the site that we built them for. Since we are talking about books, one thing that I want to make clear right here, right now..

  I make a cover once. And what I mean by that is that when I make an e-book for you, it will only ever be given to you. What you do with it is up to you, but if you provide us with an image, it will never be added to an online storage system to be re-sold by us. Yes, we do make a few changes to it for you if neccessary, but the full details of building an ebook cover are listed here for you.

  Now, about these templates.. You can visit our premade section and see what kind of selection we've got hanging around here! But REST ASSURED!! We fully understand the needs of everyone on the net. Don't be fooled by our name.. Girly Web Design is our name, but its not just for girls!

  We cover everything because not everyone wants pink and frilly, even if we wear heels to the show!

So what do we use to provide this service?

If you want a Website: We use Site Build It! If you want to know why than here is a couple of reasons..
1)You can easily change and alter pages, no knowledge of HTML (what's that??!) is required,
2)You can add, delete, and upload or un-load pages as needed. AT ONE PRICE!!
3)Domain name, submitting to search engines, e-mail capabilites, and on and on.. You can find out more about what service we will be using, here, or you can ask another Site Build It! Guru Here! Also, keep in mind that if you want to follow the SBI way or have it built for you in Dreamweaver that too.. can be done.

Now, this is a massive site. With over 140 pages of content, you will see that it can take a few days for a total change. However, the results are astounding.

The Difference is in the Book Sizes!

This is a copy of yet another book we have helped to build! If you look, you can completely tell the difference between the two.

There are some BIG differences here. First is the size.

 

The gentleman with the self improvement book was adamant about having a cover that resembled the actual content of the book.

Seeing as his book is over 300 pages long, I think "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!"

For the e-book above, you can visit the site and find out that it is actually for a e-zine subscriber list. So as you can tell, whether it is to create a list or increase sales, there are many ways of using a e-book cover!

My advice? Pick Your battles. You have to use common sense when building your site, but mostly you have to remember that just because someone else has already done it, doesn't mean you can't do it better!
